Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Job Requirements:

  • Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance license

  • Wear multiple hats as we are a growing company.

  • Minimum of 1 year of phone sales experience.

  • Speaks fluent English (Spanish Bilingual is plus)

  • Action-oriented, ability to implement defined objectives, and act independently required.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills required.

  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and eager frame of mind.

  • Excellent Communication/relational aptitudes.


Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Responsibilities:

  • Providing full lifecycle customer service and sales where you could accept inbound and make outbound calls to provide follow up

  • Assisting individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services, and best solutions to meet their personal Health and Property & Casualty needs.

  • Opening and maintaining customer accounts and information

  • Responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening and select the best solution in an efficient manner

  • Resolving customer technical issues with patience and understanding

  • Identifying additional needs customers may have and help them to upgrade products or services

  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations and closes sales.

  • Process customer policy change requests.

  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.

  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.

  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

  • Accept premium payments from customers.

  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

  • Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and return all phone messages promptly


Hours of operation:

  • Monday through Friday from 10 AM-6 PM (Some weekends as business demands)


Job Type:

  • Part-time (Shift #1= 9:30 AM-2:00PM) (Shift #2= 2:00PM-6:30PM)

  • Full-time (Shift 10am-6pm)

  • $12-18 an hour based on experience

*Shift times are increased during the open enrollment peak season to cover increased workload.
